Obit: Kay V. Traub, 79, of West Bend. Kay enjoyed gambling, needle work, camping with her family, NASCAR, and country music.

March 7, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Kay V. Traub, 79, of West Bend, entered eternal life on Monday, March 6, 2017, at her home.

She was born on June 19, 1937, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of the late Donald and Irene (nee Fritz) Kiesner and on April 14, 1956, she was united in marriage to Kenneth “Ken” W. Traub in Milwaukee.

Kay enjoyed gambling, needle work, camping with her family, NASCAR, and country music.  She and Ken were able to spend 28 wonderful years retired together. Kay was a member of Good Shephard Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend and Kicking Country Dancers.

Those Kay leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 60 years, Ken; three children, Debra (Doug) Anderson of Euless,TX, Brenda (Wayne) Kriesel of Jackson, and David Traub of Euless, TX; six grandchildren, Marie (Mike) O’shea, Nathan (Beth) Quintero, Samantha Quintero, Troy Kriesel, Daniel Moeller, and Jerred Kriesel; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Radder; three brothers, Merle Kiesner, Dick (Kathy) Kiesner, and Jim (Ruth) Kiesner; “kids from Florida”, Steve and Bobbie Chastain, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents Kay was preceded in death by a daughter, Moeller; a brother, Jerry Kiesner; a sister-in-law, Gerri Kiesner and her parents-in-law, Earl and Mary Kedroske.

A funeral service for Kay will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St. in West Bend with Rev. John Paustian officiating.  Inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.

The Traub family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
