Obit: Leon “Lee” J. Bevers, 83, Cedarburg,

Leon “Lee” J. Bevers of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the age of 83 yrs.

Lee was born in Little Chute, WI on May 14, 1933 to the late John & Anna (nee VanEyck) Bevers and married Charla (nee Miron) in Little Chute, WI on December 28, 1954.

Lee graduated from Marquette University in 1956. He had a long career in marketing and owned and operated a small business. Lee’s love of his family was his life. He also was a lifelong lover of birds and tending to his bird feeders. Lee was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

He is survived by his wife Char of Cedarburg, children; Jeff (Teri) Bevers of West Bend, Amy Bevers of Cedarburg and Steve (Jill) Bevers of Cedarburg, grandchildren; Erin (Ryan) Dove of Jackson, Alison (Mike) McVane of Lena, WI, Lauren (Jeff) Becker of West Bend, Sam (fiancée Brianna) Bevers of Ada, WI, Noah Bevers of Cedarburg and Hannah Bevers of Cedarburg. He is further survived by 6 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Memorial mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 6, 2016, 11 AM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg. Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9 – 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the MACC Fund in honor of Lily and Bailey Dove are appreciated.
