Obit: Lois Landvatter, 79

Lois M. Landvatter (nee Rogne), age 79, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2016 at the Ivy Manor in Jackson.  She was born in Milwaukee on February 24, 1936 to Carl and Ella (nee Schmidt) Rogne.  She spent her childhood in West Allis and later moved to Camp Awana.  She graduated from Random Lake High School.  After raising 3 children she went into a career as a home health aide and later became one of the first West Bend Walmart associates and worked there for 15 years.  Her hobbies included Fred Astaire Dancing, drawing and painting, she loved playing the piano and spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by her children Karen (James Jr.) Parson, Mark (Laura) Landvatter, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Padour; grandchildren James III, Sarah, Daniel, Rachel, Aaron, Jesse, and Alexander; great-grandchildren Keegan, Kadin, Kevin, Tresten, Tyler, Julietta, and Lillian; siblings Carl, Ruth (Barney) Opliger, Ted (Jan), Wendy (Mark) Hoefert; her beloved cat Amber and Parakeet Squirt.  She is further survived by friend and former husband, John Landvatter, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Alice (Orville) Schaeuble, June (Elton) Sonnabend, David and Phillip.

A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 6:00PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI, 53095).  Visitation will be Tuesday February 9, 2016 at the funeral home from 4:00PM until the time of the service (6:00PM).  Memorials appreciated to the family and/or The American Heart Association (ADDRESS).

A special thank you to St. Joseph’s Hospital (West Bend), Froedtert Hospital, Ivy Manor (Jackson) and the many Drs, nurses and aides that cared for her.
