March 2, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Marcia Short (Nee Meurett) Reunited with her beloved husband Wayne on February 27, 2017, at the age of 83. Loving mother of Sandy (Steve) Bastian, Sharon (John) Riegler, Susie (John) Creason, and Stef (Mike) Raasch. Proud grandmother of Lori, Katie, Janel (Chris), Steve (Michelle), Evan, and Tom (Xochilt). Great-grandmother of Aria, Alex, Nicholas, Cole, and Zachary. Sister of Jean (Bob) Gipp, Elaine (Wally) Konrad, Glenn (Jeanne) Minnick, and Cathy (Don) Krueger. Sister-in-law of Wes (Barbara) Short. Also loved by other relatives and friends.
Marcia enjoyed spending time with friends and family, sewing, knitting, reading, and being a loving mom and caregiver.
Visitation is at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Celebration of Marcia’s life at 11:30 AM. Private burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park. A special thank you to the staff at the Cottages for their love and care.
