Norbert M. Theisen, 89, of Campbellsport passed away Wed. May 11, 2016 at Hope Health and Rehab Center in Lomira. He was born on July 26, 1926 in Fond du Lac, the son of John and Bernadine Meis Theisen. Norbert served in the U.S. Army from 1950-52 and was stationed in Korea for 14 months. On July 2, 1955, Norbert married LaGene J. Jordan at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Campbellsport. He worked at the West Bend Company for 36 years before retiring. He also worked at the Town of Ashford dump for many years. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, the Campbellsport VFW Post #8339, and the Bintzler-Waehler American Post #347 in Lomira.
Survivors include his fiancée Darlene Ernisse and her children, his brother Henry (Marian) of Eden, his sisters Arlene Fechter of Florida and Delores Wollner of Newburg, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Norbert was preceded in death by his wife LaGene on Aug. 23, 1993, his son Dale on July 18, 1990, and his brother John.
A family service will be held on Monday, May 16th at 2:00 PM at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum Chapel in Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Road K Fond du Lac. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Hope Health and Rehab Center and to all Norbert’s neighbors for their help, care, and concern.
There will be a celebration of Norbert’s life on Sunday, May 22nd from 1 to 5 PM at the Ashford Town Hall (N1410 Rolling Dr. Campbellsport). All are welcome.
