Paul Joseph Kovacevich, age 46, passed away at his home on Saturday July 16, 2016.  He was born to Douglas and Margaret (Nee Novak) Kovacevich on January 6, 1970. He married the love of his life Lanae (Nee Landon) on June 22, 1991 and together they had four children.

Paul was born in Milwaukee and raised in Allenton, WI. He attended St. Peter’s Catholic School and Slinger High School. He attended Moraine Park Technical College and had an Associate Degree in Marketing.  He co-owned Signet Systems, an Information Technology Company. He then worked for Ticomix and was currently a Senior Account Manager for Aptris.

Paul was first and foremost a Godly man; he exemplified Christ in all he did. He was a sound man for Wooded Hills Church, did various ministries throughout the years and ministered to those God put on his heart. He befriended many and has many “spiritual children” who have become an extension of the family. To Paul, family came first and proved it in everything he did. Paul was a humble man, had a tender heart and was a great teacher. He would turn many times into teachable moments, not letting any opportunity slip by where he could impart something to his children. He was a loving husband, a true romantic and amazing father. To those that knew him best, Paul will always be remembered as the man who put God and family first.

He is survived by his parents Douglas and Margaret (Nee Novak) Kovacevich, his wife Lanae, and his children, Joshua, Mikaela, Caleb and Carissa. He is further survived by his sister Mary Berger (Craig), brother Tim Kovacevich (Linda), Stephanie Crandell (Tom), Tim Landon (Jessica Mc Conkey), Julie Landon, Tom Landon, Carrie Grinsteiner (Chad), nieces and nephews: Neil and Aaron Berger, Jacob, Lena, and Eric Kovacevich, Adam Boudry (Jenny), Trista Bennett (Travis), Breanna Hunt (Steven), Samantha (Billie), Danny, Cassandra and Promise Fellenz, Destany Erickson and Alvah Grinsteiner and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by Grandpa Peter Kovacevich, Grandparents Joe and Lucille Rapp, Mother-in-law Diana Landon and Grandparents-in-law Clarence and Hilda Veit and niece Kimberly Landon.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on July 24, 2016 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend) with Pastor Theo Williams presiding and Jim Tucci giving some words to the family.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00-2:00 until the time of service. Interment will take place at The Sacred Heart Cemetery in Allenton.
