Obit: Roberta Tripp, 80

Roberta “Birdie” M. Tripp (nee Warczak), age 80, of Hartford (formerly of Milwaukee) passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

She was born on August 10, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI to Paul and Eva (nee Tyznik) Warczak.

Birdie was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford. She was a great cook. She loved animals especially dogs.  Her family meant everything to her and she would do absolutely anything for them. She lost her special needs child, Jeffrey which she took care until the age of  16 and lived until the age of 56 years. She dropped everything to care for him and still had time to be with and love her other boys. She was such an example of unconditional love for her family.

Birdie is survived by her loving sons, Greg (Vickie) of West Bend, Mark (Amy) of Watertown and Jim (Julia) Tripp of Hartford and her cherished grandchildren, Mark, Janeen (Scott), Jacob, Kylie, Kacie, Ewelina, and Sebastian; one precious great grandchild, David; and her sister, Christine (Tom) Mountcastle. She is further survived by several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeffrey Tripp.

Mass of Christian Burial for Roberta will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at11:30 a.m. at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church (264 W. State Street Hartford, WI 53027) with Fr. David LaPlante officiating with Visitation at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – until the 11:30 mass.

Interment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Kilian Catholic Church (428 Forest Street Hartford, WI 53027) appreciated.
