Shirley A. Carr (Simpson) age 63 years of Campbellsport passed away Thursday December 17, 2015. She was born on November 26, 1952 in Utica, NY to Floyd and Bertha (Rucker) Simpson.  Graduate of UFA in Utica, NY and later married Daniel Carr.  She was a member of Northern New York Speed Skating Association and loved hiking, canoeing and swimming.
Shirley is survived by her husband Daniel, children Daniel L. Carr II, Benjamin (Maria) Carr and Sarah (Jesse) Winkler.  She is further survived by her grandchildren: Daniel L. Carr III, Michael Carr, Mckinley Winkler, siblings: Suzanne (Michael) Stemmer of TN, Cynthia (William) Chapple of NY, Wendy Simpson of Fullem, OK, Ann Simpson of NY, Gretchen (Joseph) Cavalle of TN, Mary Ann (Norman) Kelley of NY, Lonny Simpson of NY, James Simpson of NY, Patrick (Kandee) Simpson of NY, sister-in-law Diane (Gary) Schmitz, maternal aunt Cynthia Oderkirk of NY along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family, so a Memorial Bench in Shirley’s name may be placed at a local park.
