Obit: Terilyn “Teri” Monday (nee Papenthien), 46, of West Bend

May 31, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Terilyn “Teri” Monday (nee Papenthien), 46, of West Bend, found peace on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her home.

She was born on September 26, 1970 to Charles and Lynette (nee Syvock) Papenthien in Milwaukee WI. She graduated from Washington High School in Germantown. Teri worked at Pizza Hut for 14 years, she worked at a call center and later worked for Johnson School Bus as a driver.

 

On February 2, 2002, she was united in marriage to Daniel Monday. Teri also enjoyed crafting and crocheting and worked as an independent crafter. She made blankets, baby hats, and lap robes for Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.

 

Teri liked gardening, flowers and making wedding arrangements. She loved animals, especially her cats. She also loved using social media to connect with many people around the world. Teri also donated her time to the Washington County Humane Society. She was a very caring and giving person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those Teri leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Dan Monday; her mother, Lynette Papenthien; a son, Tyler (Casey) Beauregard; a grandson, Osiris Beauregard; two sisters, Kim (Phat) Nguyen and Robin (Steven) Grzechowiak; three nieces, Amanda Nguyen, Jordan Nguyen, and Jessica Grzechowiak; three nephews, Mason Nguyen, Jacob Grzechowiak, and Josh Grzechowiak; former husband, Steve (Theresa) Beauregard and their two children, Jackson and Zachary; her two best friends, Becky Schuster and her three children, Kyle, Kelly, and Kayla, and Doreen (Bryan) Mishler; her two cats, Toby and Riley; other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Papenthien; Paternal grandparents, Charles F. and Virginia Papenthien; and maternal grandparents, Samuel Syvock and Doris (Syvock) Sinkey.

A funeral service in remembrance of Teri will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope United Church of Christ, 4360 Jackson Dr., Jackson.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park.

Memorial to the family are appreciated.
