Obit: Vivian Joan Norman, 85, Cedarburg

Vivian Joan Norman was born in Lake City Iowa, she married William Bradley Norman, Sr. in Iowa and moved to Cedarburg in 1957. She was an amazing homemaker, baking bread from scratch, sewing all her own and children’s clothing and canning much fruit, jams and jellies.

Mom was proud to be a member of the Cedarburg Junior Woman’s Club and served as their president. She loved her church where she had been a Sunday school teacher. Mom and Dad were members of Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Mequon, WI since 1957.

Bridge was a game she liked to play with her girlfriends most of her adult life but had to give it up the last four years due to Parkinson’s disease, dementia and heart problems.

She was preceded in death by her sweet husband Bill. Joan is survived by her children Brad (Teri) Norman of De Pere and Tracy (Don) Bergin of Cedarburg; grandchildren Ryan (Rebecca) Norman of Virginia, Kyle (Sara) Norman of Green Bay, Daniel Bergin of Port Washington and Bradley Bergin of Cedarburg; great-grandchildren Liam and sister Eleanor Norman of Virginia and Ava, Ella and brother Beckham Norman of Green Bay.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 2 pm, at Crossroads Presbyterian Church 6301 W. Chapel Hill Rd. 129 N Mequon, WI 53092. Family will receive friends at a reception following the service.
