Obituary | Christine Nagel, 57,

Feb. 12, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – Christine Nagel, 57, found peace on Monday, Feb. 11, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer at Kathy Hospice.

She was born on July 14, 1961 in Waukesha to parents Lester and Mary (Loew) Krueger. Christine was a 1980 graduate of Germantown High School. She was united in marriage on August 29, 1985 to Michael Nagel.

Christine loved spending time with her family at her lake home up north, where she would enjoy a cup of coffee on the pier with her dog at her side. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden. Christine dedicated her life to her family, raising her two sons and working in the family business.

Christine is survived by her husband Michael; two sons, Mathew (Deanna) and Aaron (Leah Steuer); seven siblings, Sandy Zwieg, Dick (Sue) Krueger, Jeannie Knop, Joyce Dibb, Charles (Gail) Krueger, Jackie (Robert) Raddeman and Jeffrey Krueger; sisters-in-law, Deanna (Dennis) Tetzlaff and Pamela (Dan) Helman; mother-in-law, Donna Nagel; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Christine is preceded in death by; sister, Koreen (Donnie) Kienast; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron Zwieg, Roger Knop and Steve Dibb; father-in-law, Russ Nagel.

Funeral Services for Christine will be held at Northbrook Church, 4014 Highway 167, Richfield on Friday, February 15 at 6:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends from 2:00 PM until time of service. Private committal at St. Mary of the Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Christine’s special nurses in the Cancer Care Center at Froedtert Community Memorial Hospital for their care, love and support.
