Obituary | Gladys Caroline Muehl, 98, of West Bend

May 20, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Gladys Caroline Muehl, 98, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2019 at New Perspective Senior Living Community in West Bend.

Gladys was born on March 15, 1921 in Rockfield to William and Alvina Muehl  (Straub).

Gladys was a school teacher for 44 years.  She taught in Elmwood, Richfield and West Bend.  Gladys retired in 1985.  She was a member of the Washington County Retired Teacher Association and Pi Lambda Theta – Greater Milwaukee Field Chapter.  Gladys was a parishioner at Bible Baptist Church in West Bend.

Those Gladys leaves behind to cherish her memory include her cousins, Ralph Muehl and Ron Jorgenson.  She is further survived by many good friends.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her sister, Inez Muehl.

At Gladys’ request no services will be held.  Memorials to Gospel Fellowship Association or to a charity of your choice.  Gladys’ final resting place will be in the family burial plot at Cedar Park Cemetery in Richfield.

  1. She was my 3rd grade teacher at Decorah Elementary School 1 of teacher’s that seem to watch over me she was great woman. My thought and prayers are with the Family Dick C.
