December 27, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Kathleen I. Petri of West Bend died on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Froedtert West Bend Hospital at the age of 70. She was born on April 17, 1949 in West Bend to the late John and Lucille (nee Theisen) Petri.
She attended Holy Angels Grade School, later graduating from West Bend High School with the Class of 1967. She went on to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, earning her bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Her teaching career took her to northern Wisconsin, where she taught 6th grade.
Following her retirement, she returned to the West Bend area where she made her home. For many years, she cared for her mother Lucille. Together, they took great pride in maintaining their home.
Survivors include her loving companion of 20 years Andre McCoy; 1 brother Steven (Lona) Petri of Bozeman, MT; 1 niece Kelly (Pat) Ayers of Bend, OR; many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held. Inurnment will be in Holy Angels Cemetery with her parents.
