Jan. 2, 2019 – Hartford, WI – Kim M. Peters (nee Margelowsky) age 61 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Saturday December 29, 2018 in her home after a long courageous battle with brain cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Kim was born June 11, 1957 in Hartford, WI to Wallace and Dorothy (nee Kohler) Margelowsky. She was united in marriage to Fred R. Peters on November 5, 1977 at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford. Kim worked for R.S Semler & Associates. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, gardening, but most of all and most important to Kim was making memories with family.

Kim is survived by her husband, Fred; daughters, Michelle (fiancé, Doug Felder) Bartlett of Juneau, WI and Abbie (Darrell) Wobig of West Bend, WI; grandchildren, Megan Bartlett, Hannah Bartlett, Drake Felder, and Addisyn Felder; sister, Debbie Kodai; father-in-law, Frederick F. Peters; brothers and sisters-in-law, John (Barb) Peters, Nancy Hopland, Karen (Tony) Pullum, Margaret (Dennis) Wiedmeyer, Rick Peters, Ted (Ann) Peters, and Patti Peters-Bloecher. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and grand-dogs, Molly, Cooper, and Bosco.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wayne, Joseph, Terry, Todd Margelowsky; mother-in-law, Shirley Peters; brother-in-law, Gary Peters; and sister-in-law, Theresa Peters.

Mass of Christian Burial for Kim will be celebrated, Friday, January 4, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 W. State Street Hartford, WI 53027) with Fr. David LaPlante officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 3:00 – 5:45 p.m.

Memorial contributions in Kim’s name to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital are appreciated.

The family would like to thank Dr. Asadullah Khan and the staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and the Rehab Center at Aurora in Hartford for their loving care.
