Obituary | Mark Anthony Robert “Catar” Catarozzoli, 60, of Slinger

April 16, 2020 – Slinger, WI – Mark Anthony Robert “Catar” Catarozzoli, born December 4, 1959, to Domenic and Mary Catarozzoli, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2020, at the age of 60. This was not a result of COVID-19.

Mark Anthony Robert “Catar” Catarozzoli

Mark graduated from Slinger High School and was a self-employed excavation demolition contractor under the name of M.A. Catarozzoli Company. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time traveling in the “Bing Bus” with his brothers and nephews going to equipment or air shows and truck & tractor pulls.

Mark was a “crabby” but funny man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a hard worker, and someone you could depend on. He was warm-hearted and loving and the best uncle. He took great pleasure in surprising his nieces and nephews like giving them canned corn and tuna for their Halloween trick or treats, building a Potato gun to fire off when they came to his house, or molding his Rice Krispy treats to reflect the holiday—his best was shaped to resemble a roasted turkey, drumsticks and all! He will be missed.

Mark’s father, Domenic, and grandparents preceded him in death. Those who will miss him dearly are his mother, Mary, his siblings, Mathew (Becky), Roxanne (Jeff Averill), Carolyn (Steve Valancy), Mary Jo (Charlie Baker), Jackie (Bruce King), Sara, Angela (Russ Desmond), Luke, Paula (Mike Anderson), and John (Sharon), as well as his nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.

Per Mark’s request there will be no funeral. A celebration of his life will be held in the summer. Rest in peace Mark. We will always love you.

  1. I don’t know Mark, but just reading his obituary says it all. He sounds like he was quite the character, and you surely don’t see that much anymore. RIP
