May 13, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – Robert G. Rode, 79, found peace on Saturday, May 11, 2019.
He was born in Milwaukee on September 24, 1939 to parents William and Ella (Wallerman) Rode. Robert was united in marriage on February 18, 1967 to Judith Leininger. Robert retired from International Stamping.
Robert enjoyed his time camping, boating and relaxing up north.
Robert is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons, Rick (Kerrie) and Brian; four grandsons, Tyler, Steven, Brady and Travis; sister-in-law, Joyce Rode; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy; sisters, Betty (Ralph) Soine and Shirley Jones.
Memorial Service for Robert will be held at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford on Thursday, May 16 at 6 p.m. Visitation for family and friends from 3 p.m. until time of service. Private committal and military honors at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
