Public meeting for improvements to N. Walker Drive in Hartford | By Jason Schall

Hartford, WI – There will be a public information meeting for improvements to North Wacker Drive in the City of Hartford on Thursday, April 11, 2019.  The meeting will be held from p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City of Hartford City Hall, in Scherger Hall Community Room (Room 101), 109 North Main Street, Hartford, WI. There will be a brief presentation at p.m.

Proposed transportation improvements

The City of Hartford is proposing to replace the bridge carrying North Wacker Drive over the Rubicon River in the City of Hartford, Washington County.  The project is located approximately 0.2 miles north of the junction with WIS 60.  

The project consists of removal of the existing bridge and the construction of a new structure.  The project is currently scheduled for construction in 2020.  The roadway will be closed to through traffic during construction.

All persons interested in the North Wacker Drive bridge replacement project are encouraged to attend a Public Information Meeting on Thursday, April 11, 2019.  The meeting will be held from p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City of Hartford City Hall, in Scherger Hall Community Room (Room 101), 109 North Main Street, Hartford, WI. There will be a brief presentation at p.m.

Information available

Representatives from the City of Hartford and Strand Associates, Inc. (the design consultant) will be on hand to discuss the proposed improvements.  Project plans, location maps, and other exhibits will be on display to illustrate the work in detail.
