Racine man arrested by WB police for alleged 2nd degree sexual assault of a child

 Feb. 13, 2017 – West Bend, WI – On Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at 1:32 a.m., a West Bend officer observed a vehicle parked at the entrance to Royal Oaks Park. The officer thought the vehicle was unoccupied as he did not observe anyone in the front seats of the vehicle.

A short time later the officer observed the vehicle being driven away by a man. At that time the officer did not observe anyone else in the vehicle. The investigating officer stopped the vehicle in the 900 Block of Auburn Road and made contact with the driver, a 22-year-old Racine man. At that time the officer observed a 15 year old female in the backseat buttoning her pants. The investigation determined the 22 year old man had repeated sexual contact and sexual intercourse with the 15 year old female over the course of the weekend. The man was arrested for Repeated Acts of 2ND Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. He is presently in Washington County Jail.
