Rain dampens dust at Washington Co. Fair Park

Author: | Posted in Uncategorized 1 Comment

Just enough rain on Saturday to make farmers happy, fatten up the corn a little more and settle the dust as the Washington County Fair gets rollin’ this week.

4H families will spend the next two days hauling their animals to the local fair grounds on Pleasant Valley Road. They’ll decorate the stalls for the cows, pigs, and sheep and the llamas will get all fancy.

The Washington County Fair kicks off Tuesday, July 26.

In the meantime we’ll take your rainfall totals as the Washington County area got a couple good soakings on Saturday.
