Rain pushes off pair of local events in WB and Jackson

Captureyyyy

Rather than get sick and have a miserable time in the cold rain a pair of executive decisions have been made and two events, a ribbon cutting at the new tee-ball diamond in Jackson and a planting at ‘the new’ Old Settlers’ Park in West Bend have been rescheduled for Wednesday.

Here’s the official note from Lori Yahr with West Bend Friends of Park & Rec:

Hi Friends,
Due to the inclement weather we are rescheduling our planting at Old Settlers Park for tomorrow, Wednesday May 11 from 5pm to around 7:30pm.  If you have not seen the “NEW” Old Settlers Park you need to stop by. It is a great improvement to our downtown. The addition of small shrubs and perennials will make it that much better. Hope to see you there!

And the official word from Ron Limbach from Jackson: Its a rain out tonight. Shooting for tomorrow night same time

Spread the word with friends.
