May 30, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – Some heavy precipitation passed through Washington County on Wednesday afternoon making for a wet drive home from work. Motorists had their lights on and wipers at high speed as torrents of rain fell filling the streets with streams and puddles.
At the Samaritan Campus organizers of the 50th anniversary celebration moved tents to help shelter residents from the storm as it moved in around 4:35 p.m.
In Hartford crews from the Public Works Department braved the downpour as they worked to fix a huge hole in the road at Wacker Drive by Woodlawn Union Park. The northbound lane was closed as a watermain break was repaired.
The rain eventually gave way to sunny skies and humid conditions. How much rainfall did you get in your neck of the woods.
