Jan. 7, 2019 – Madison, WI –  State Representative Dan Knodl (R-Germantown) was sworn-in today at the Capitol and begins his sixth term representing the 24th District in the Assembly.

“It’s an honor to continue serving the residents of the 24th Assembly District here in the Legislature, and I am excited to begin the 2019-20 legislative session,” said Knodl. “In the Assembly, we have fifteen new members, 8 Republicans and 7 Democrats. I’d like to welcome them all to the Legislature and wish them the best. I would also like to welcome our new Governor who was sworn-in today.”

For the 2019-20 session, Rep. Knodl will serve as Majority Caucus Chair, Co-Chair of the Committee on Information Policy and Technology, and member of the Committee on State Affairs. He grew up in Menomonee Falls and now lives in Germantown.

 

Knodl represents the communities of Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Brown Deer, Glendale, River Hills, and Mequon.

“We made a lot of positive reforms over the last eight years that helped families, small businesses, and communities grow. I look forward to working together with my colleagues in the Legislature and the new Governor to protect those important reforms and build on our success,” said Knodl. “I’m excited about the new year, the new session, and all the opportunities to help Wisconsin continue the positive momentum.”
