Retail theft at local Pick ‘n Save store | By West Bend Police

June 27, 2017 – West Bend, WI – On Monday, June 26, at 11:25 a.m., West Bend Police were called to Pick ‘n Save, 2518 W. Washington St. for a male who stole a bottle of liquor. When officers attempted to apprehend the man in the parking lot, he ran into the wooded wetlands behind the store. Officers observed the man a short time later and he again ran into the wooded wetlands. The man was located and identified as a 35-year-old West Bend resident. The male suffered an injury to his leg when he ran through the woods and was treated at St. Joseph’s Hospital. The man was arrested for Retail Theft, Obstructing an Officer and for Violation of his Probation with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
