Slinger Lady Owls step it up against the Watertown Goslings for another win | By Ron Naab

 

Jan. 23, 2018 – Slinger, WI – In a highly competitive non-conference game at Slinger High School on Tuesday night the Lady Owls hosted the Watertown Goslings.

The Goslings tried to take control early but by the half the game was tied 16-16.

During the start of the third quarter Watertown jump into the lead; at times the Goslings were up by 6 points.

The Lady Owls quickly fought their way back. In the final minutes Slinger took control with Sidney Reinhardt sinking 9 of 10 free throws to lead the Owls to another win, 46-38.

Leading scorers for Slinger were Sidney Reinhardt and Casandra Warmsley each with 12 of the 46 points.

Thursday night is Parent’s Night and the Lady Owls play host to Nicolet.
