Jan.12, 2017 – Town of Polk, WI – The Washington/Ozaukee Chapter-Ice Age Trail Alliance will host its annual meeting at the Polk Town Hall on Saturday, Jan. 14.

The meeting begins at 11 a.m. with guest speakers, the Kneeland family.  Father, Scott and sons, Andy (11) and Kyle (8) will reminisce about their 1,000-mile adventure that led them to become the youngest hikers to complete the entire Ice Age National Scenic Trail over a 5-year period.

If you have ever thought about hiking a long-distance trail, or are looking to get your family and young folks interested in the outdoors, you will enjoy this enlightening story.

Stay for a chili potluck lunch at noon.  This is a nice time to socialize and learn more about the Ice Age Trail.  A business meeting will follow.
