A couple Insider notes about today’s appearance of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at the Washington County Fair Park.
-Hannah Mrozak of Richfield will sing the National Anthem: Mrozak wrote, “I am so incredibly honored to have been asked to perform the National Anthem at the Trump Rally at the Washington County Fair Grounds in West Bend where THE Donald Trump will be attending!!”
-Guest speakers will include Rep. Bob Gannon (R-Slinger), Rep. Dan Knodl (R-Germantown), Gov. Scott Walker.
-The Jackson Fire Department was on site this morning and has posted a note saying the capacity at The Ziegler Building will be enforced. Early word is too many tickets were made available and not everyone may get in. So… best idea is to get in line early. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
-Quite a few Trump supporters started lining up outside The Ziegler Building at 7:30 a.m. including Josh Schimek who drove in from Burlington. “I’ve seen Trump several times including Appleton, Janesville, and Racine.”
Questioned whether Trump ever spoke on time Schimek said, not usually. “He can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes behind schedule.”
Trump is taping a show with Sean Hannity in Milwaukee prior to coming out to Washington County Fair Park.
Sheriff Schmidt said they will have a lot of security in place. Schmidt would not divulge how Trump plans to arrive, whether it be by plane or helicopter. Schimek was betting Trump would be whisked here by motorcade.

Timeline:
Noon: Satellite trucks can begin arriving
1:00 pm -2:00 pm: Media must pre-set all equipment including sat trucks by 2:00 PM
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: There will be a security sweep of the venue. No personnel will be allowed access to the venue during this time.
4:15 pm – 7:00 pm: Press re-entry. Credentials will be issued on site at this time. All credentialed media must enter by 7:00 PM
7:30 pm: Event begins
Parking:
Satellite trucks should park in the west side lot, across the press entrance.
Satellite trucks can begin entering at Noon.
All other press should park in the lot. There will not be a reserved media parking area.
