The exit ramp from southbound US Hwy 45 to W. Paradise Drive will be closed for reconstruction. The Washington County Highway Department will be removing and replacing the concrete roadway within the exit ramp area. The City of West Bend Public Works Department will be assisting with the replacement of traffic signal detection systems within the work site.
The Washington County Highway Department expects this closure to be in effect for two weeks starting at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, through Friday, August 12. Weather permitting, the closure will reopen on or before August 12.
The exit ramp will be closed to all traffic during this reconstruction and a detour will be posted. Motorists are asked to exercise caution, observe construction signs, obey flagmen and be alert for heavy construction equipment while work is in progress. Alternate routes should be selected if possible.
