VIDEO | Updated tour inside the soon-to-open Pizza Ranch in West Bend

April 10, 2018 – West Bend, WI – There’s quite a bit of development underway across West Bend and Washington County.

Aside from the buzz about the possibility of a new Fleet Farm in West Bend, the sale of the old TriPar building on Highway 33, construction of Morrie’s West Bend Honda, and development of a new Kwik Trip in West Bend and Casey’s General Store in Hartford the hottest topic remains Pizza Ranch, 2020 W. Washington Street,  in West Bend.

Owner Stacy Gehring provided a walk through of the interior which features signage, the buffet line, soda machines and freshly-painted dining areas.

A couple of updates were submitted by Pizza Ranch owners Matt and Stacy Gehring:

-Pizza Ranch will not be granted a conditional occupancy permit until concrete and asphalt are put down.  Contractors are hoping to start on concrete on Wednesday, April 11.

-Asphalt has to wait until plants open which will be April 16 pending weather.  Once this is completed then we are allowed to get in and train staff.

-Training staff is a two-week process. Delivery drivers are still needed and a Pizza Ranch vehicle will be available for use.

-The city will not grant full occupancy to fully operate until the parking lot is sealed and striped.  For this to happen we need overnight temperatures above 50 degrees.

-Landscaping does not have to be completed before we open.  We cannot dictate Mother Nature but are as anxious as everyone else to bring Pizza Ranch to West Bend.

-We are tracking an early to mid-May opening but do not have a crystal ball on the weather.

Regards
Matt & Stacy Gehring

  1. I love pizza ranch in fondulac because they have buffet which includes soda & ice cream machine. If the west bend pizza ranch doesn’t have the ice cream machine they won’t get my business.
