The Washington County Republican Party won the 2015 top county award at the GOP state convention.
There are a variety of different criterion: campaign work, community captain program, membership , county party events, participation in community events (parades, gun shows, farmers market, etc), media and LTE’s, a poll worker program, use of social media, maintaining a year round campaign office, attendance at the district caucus and state convention, newsletters, unique ideas and contributions to candidates.
The RPW scores you in each category. There are five county finalists and the winner is selected by the RPW county party development committee.
The Washington County Republican Party also won the award in 2003 and 2007.
