WBPD deal with drugs, disorderly conduct and a pedestrian hit by a vehicle

PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY MOTOR VEHICLE
400 Block of North 18th Avenue
On 07/16/16, at 11:20 AM, a female driver from West Bend, 59, was in the process of making a right turn from southbound 18th Avenue onto West Washington Street when a juvenile male stepped out into the crosswalk, in violation of the do not cross signal, in front of the vehicle and was struck. The 14 year old male, resident of West Bend, received minor injuries as a result of the collision. The juvenile was cited for violating the traffic signal.

 

 

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA / POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
1100 Block of South Main Street
On 07/17/16, at 10:46 PM, an officer observed two juvenile males enter a gated dumpster area behind a business on S. Main St. While speaking to the subjects, the officer noticed several flakes of marijuana on one of the juvenile’s shirt. The juvenile admitted to hiding his marijuana under the dumpster. The officer located a baggie containing marijuana and a marijuana pipe under the dumpster. The 15 year old male was cited for Possession of Marijuana released to his parent.

 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
200 Block of North Main Street
On 07/17/16, at 1:02 AM, an officer observed a woman crying on the sidewalk and on further investigation learned that the woman’s boyfriend and another man had been involved in a physical altercation. The two men returned while the officer was speaking with the woman. The investigation determined that a West Bend man, 28, was walking down the sidewalk talking about how tough he was when a West Bend man, 27, walking in front of the man turned around and laughed. The 28 year old man tackled the 27 year old man, causing him to strike his head on the pavement. The 28 year old man was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and placed in jail.

 

OWI – 2nd OFFENSE
800 Block of South Main Street
On 07/16/16, at 1:00 PM, a concerned citizen reported a possible impaired driver that had pulled into a parking lot of an area business and parked. Officers responded to the parking lot and located the vehicle and the 44 year old West Bend female driver, who was still seated in the vehicle. The driver was found to be intoxicated, failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .229% in a PBT and was arrested for OWI – 2nd Offense and Bail Jumping, as the woman is currently out of jail on bail with restrictions of absolute sobriety.

OWI – 2nd OFFENSE
400 Block of North River Road
On 07/16/16, at 1:31 AM, a 28 year old Campbellsport man was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be intoxicated. The man failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .123% in a PBT and was arrested for OWI – 2nd Offense.
