Feb. 11, 2019 – West Bend, WI – West Bend Elevator, 3434 County Highway D, is a beehive of activity today as neighbors flood in for bags of salt.
The Elevator picked up two semi loads. It has everything including product that’s safe for pets.
According to the Elevator’s Mike Otten the store has between 40 and 50-pound bags of salt priced at $5.30 a bag to $9.60.
Neighbors in Washington County and in surrounding communities have been slipping around their yards and walkways the past few days after a strong melt followed by more rain and then a freeze.
