West Bend Sunrise Rotary accepting application for $15,000 Give-Away

 

Jan. 10, 2018 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend Sunrise Rotary Club is accepting applications for its 2018 $15,000 Give-Away. This fundraising activity helps at least one non-profit charitable 501 (c) (3) organization in the West Bend area through a $10,000 grant.

The objective of the award is to assist the recipient organization(s) accomplish a creative project or begin a new service. Recipient(s) may not use this award for profit-making or administrative or staff salaries or benefits.

The project or service should have a local focus, positively impact a great number of people and meet the Rotary’s 4-Way Test. The 4-Way Tests asks:

Is it the Truth?
Is it Fair to all concerned?
Will it build Goodwill and better Friendships?
Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

Organizations that meet these criteria and would like to apply for the award may download an application at westbendsunriserotary.org or contact event co-chairs Todd Vance or Candy Sarauer by phone or email or any West Bend Sunrise Rotary member for an application.

All applications must be received by January 12, 2018.

Tickets for the $15,000 Give-Away will be on sale early in 2018. Cost is $100 per ticket and entitles the bearer to a dinner for 2 (including drinks), the opportunity to win up to $15,000 cash and prizes, and also to participate in a silent auction and dessert auction the evening of the event.
