Winter weather advisory issued for all of southern Wisconsin; possibility of up to 7 inches of snow

Jan. 24, 2017 – Washington County – The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for all of southern Wisconsin, to include Fond du lac, Dodge and Washington counties.

A mixture of rain and snow is expected to start sometime late this afternoon or early evening and continue through Wednesday evening. The rain/snow mix will most likely turn to snow overnight and return to sleet/freezing rain for the morning commute.

Drivers should be prepared and allow extra time for travel.
