August 14, 2019 – West Bend, WI – American Companies in West Bend is excited to welcome Dan Silkey to our architectural team. Silkey holds a Masters of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering, both from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He is currently working to obtain his PE.
“As we continue to grow, it made a lot of sense for us to add Dan to our team,” said Kraig Sadownikow, President of American Companies. “I’ve been impressed with the work-load our architects have been able to keep up with this past year. Adding a board-certified structural engineer to the team will help to us to keep the tight timelines our clients have grown to expect while also adding to the in-house capabilities we’re able to offer.”
Silkey joins us from Dematic Corporation out of New Berlin where he designed, built, implemented, and supported automated system solutions for warehouses, distribution centers, and production facilities.
Dan enjoys fishing, woodworking and gardening with his wife, Erin and two boys, Ethan, 9 and Chase, 7. He also enjoys spending time on the course, golfing.
