DQ north changing to Mother’s Day Restaurant: Watch for a new sign to go up at the old DQ off Highway 33 as Mother’s Day Restaurant prepares to open.
Sam Fejzuli purchased the property, 501 Wildwood Road, in May. Fejzuli owns the Mother’s Day Restaurant in Horicon.
Originally from Macedonia Fejzuli has been in the U.S. for 27 years. “I expect we’ll have 20 to 25 jobs,” said Fejzuli. The new restaurant is expected to open in the next month.
Fejzuli has been working on a major interior remodel building booths and tables and acquiring kitchen equipment.
The property, which had been in foreclosure since January 2014, was listed at $390,000. The sale price was $260,000.
