Oct. 13, 2017 – Dodge Co., WI – On Oct. 13, 2017 at 10:53 a.m. the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor-vehicle crash involving two passenger cars on County Highway A at the intersection with County Highway B, in the Township of Beaver Dam.
Preliminary investigation shows that a Buick was traveling west on CTHB approaching the intersection with CTH A. That intersection is controlled by stop signs.
A Honda was traveling south on CTH A approaching the intersection with CTH B.
The Buick entered the intersection and the two vehicles collided.
The operator of the Buick was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital but was pronounced dead prior to being transferred to UW Hospital (in Madison, WI) by Flight for Life. The operator of the Honda was not injured in the crash.
Assisting at the scene was: Beaver Dam Police, Beaver Dam Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Flight for Life, Dodge County Emergency Response Team and the Sheriff’s Office Chaplain.
Identification of the persons involved is being withheld pending notification family members.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team and the Dodge County Medical Examiner.
