Final conference game victory for Kettle Moraine Lutheran | By Jordyn Heckendorf

Feb. 15, 2019 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran girls varsity celebrated senior night this season in a game against the Ripon Tigers this week.

Honorees included: Amelia Bock, Jaime Maas, Ariana Miller, Megan Sina, Jayme Soderbeck, Rebecca Vandermus, Abigail Washburn, and Erica Zeamer.

The first half of the competition was closer than expected as the Chargers headed into halftime with a low score of 20 – 14.

Good passing all around and finding the open person in the paint led to offensive success for the Chargers in the second half.

Kettle Moraine Lutheran ended the conference season with its 15th win, 46 – 28.

Leading scorers for Kettle consisted of Emma Thistle at 10 points along with Amelia Bock and Jordyn Heckendorf both pitching in 7.

KML heads into WIAA tournament play as the No. 1 seed in Division 3, starting with a bye, but will play in Regionals, Friday, Feb. 22 on its home court.

The Chargers will face the winner of Obama School vs. Golda Meir.
