On Friday, Sept. 9 all profits from sales at Fat Boy BBQ, located on the northeast corner of Highway 144 and Highway 60 in Slinger, will be donated to help Tim Roskopf and his family with medical bills.

Roskopf has been with the Slinger Fire Department 19 years and has given thousands of hours of his personal time to the community and never asked for anything in return, but now he is in need of help.

Roskopf is recovering from surgery to repair an aortic dissection. He‘s expected to be out of work the next 6 to 8 months.

The owner of Fat Boy BBQ will be cooking up ribs on Friday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. and donating the profits to Roskopf.

“My goal is to sell 100 racks and I am confident if I can cook them you can help eat them,” said Steven Wenger.
