October 17, 2019 – West Bend, WI – As Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee shows off its new mural on the Brewhouse building in the Miller Valley we revisit a story about West Bend’s tie to the Miller High Life ‘Girl in the Moon.’ The article, written by Carrie Sturn, features Gladys Schmidt and her recollections about being in bond parades in Milwaukee dressed as the ‘Girl in the Moon’ with a red outfit and a hat that looked like a Mexican sombrero.
