Hartford teen, Taylor Rennicke, shovels for free as a tribute to his father | By Samantha Sali

Dec. 13, 2017 – Hartford, WI – Hartford resident, Taylor Rennicke, is spreading Christmas cheer this holiday season. At just 19 years old, Rennicke has offered to shovel sidewalks and driveways for neighbors, completely free of charge.

Focusing on the Hartford, Slinger, and Jackson area, he already has 150 clients.

“I just want to make this world a better place,” Rennicke said.

If this nice gesture couldn’t get any better, those that try to tip him will have that money go towards another cause.

Rennicke plans on buying and donating toys to Children’s Hospital and give flowers to people he runs into to brighten their day.

This is the first year Rennicke has done something like this and hopes to do the same thing next year.

He also hopes to offer free lawn work during the summer but does not have a lawn mower yet.

The love and joy this young man is bringing is contagious, as someone donated a snow blower to help Rennicke, who originally started with just a shovel.

The person who inspired Rennicke to offer free shoveling services is his father, who passed away in 2011. “I’ve just been trying to be the best person I can and I’ve been doing this for him,” Rennicke said.

Rennicke would like to extend his offer to the readers of the WashingtonCountyInsider.com who are located in Hartford, Slinger, or Jackson.

If you are in need of his services, Rennicke invites you to email him at [email protected]

  1. Taylor, I think what you are doing is a great thing. Your dad would be so proud of you and he is looking down on you with pride and joy. The world needs a lot more teens like you in this world. Keep doing what you are doing.

  2. Taylor is my nephew and his father was my brother & my best friend. Since my brother Rosario’s untimely death, the holidays have never been the same. I miss him dearly. I ache for Taylor because he didn’t get nearly enough time with his dad. He has every right to be angry and bitter but instead he is full of love & kindness! So much like his father it’s scary! I am forever grateful & proud to call this beautiful human being “family”!!!!
