Traffic travelling on Division Road is still able to cross Highway 60 at that intersection’s roundabout.

WisDOT: Project is currently on schedule

STH 60 will undergo resurfacing from Eagle Drive in Jackson to just west of the 5 Corners intersection in the Town of Cedarburg. The project is set to be completed by late September.

Highway 60 construction

Work will involve milling off the top two inches of roadway, and laying four new inches of pavement. The paved shoulder width will also be increased to six feet, and bypass lanes and right turn lanes at intersections will be added or extended as needed.

In addition to the resurfacing, the State will be reconstructing the intersection of STH 60 and CTH Y with a roundabout to address traffic safety concerns.

The entire stretch of road from Eagle Drive to Five Corners will be closed to through traffic during construction. A detour route is posted. Local and emergency access will be maintained throughout the project.

WisDOT will be reaching out to those affected to directly notify them of the work. This includes mailings or posted notices to residences (usually within one mile north and south of the project boundary), and phone calls or personal visits to businesses along the route. This is set to occur in the month of February. The state typically works with affected businesses to post special signage to indicate business locations.
