West Bend, WI – Jerry Balser’s interest in photography grew out of family photo sessions with his stepfather and his three brothers. While photography was not his vocational or educational path, a family tragedy forced Jerry to take a semester off during college and he landed a job as a photojournalist for a local newspaper.
Not to be outdone by her husband, Kathy Balser also has many talents which didn’t really peak until she turned 60. “I don’t even consider myself an artist; I’m an accountant,” laughs Kathy.
