Letter to the Editor | Vote for a Responsive Candidate in the 58th | By Nick Dobberstein

Jan. 12, 2018 – Slinger, WI – Concerned about how a state assembly bill 772 could affect workers’ compensation, I recently contacted my State Assembly District 59 office to receive a staffer’s same-day reply with a copy of the bill.

Having no answers to questions about the bill save for who its sponsors were, however, I contacted my Assembly 58 District Candidates Dennis Degenhardt and Rick Gundrum for input through their Facebook candidacy pages.

Degenhardt got back to me the same day with a response and thoughtful questions.

A recent letter to the Daily News editor stridently called for voting one’s “red” or “blue” affiliations in District 58, but how about voting smart?

Degenhardt’s responsiveness, communication, and zest to serve make him a smart choice, worthy of voters of the 58th on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
