Megan Gundrum is now a Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk

Oct. 19, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Three cheers for Megan Gundrum, a longtime employee in the West Bend City Clerk’s Office.

Earlier this month Gundrum received notice she has become a Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk.

According to City Hall, “The certificate requirements include: years of experience in municipal government, current and continued educational credits, being an active member of the WMCA and completing the three year Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Institute at UW-Green Bay.

“It’s a great accomplishment for her,” said city clerk Stephanie Justman.   “It’s years of working in a clerk’s office and her education has to come from an accredited university. It’s quite a commitment.”

Justman remembered when Gundrum mailed her information in for certification. “When she mailed it to the Wisconsin Municipal Clerk’s Association that packet had to be 2-inches thick,” she said. “Megan has definitely earned this.”

Gundrum started her career at the West Bend Police Department on June 16, 2003 and moved to clerk’s office in June 2008.
