Opening date for new contemporary Italian restaurant in West Bend

Oct. 7, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Culaccino Bar + Italian Kitchen is announcing its sof opening events.

Pronounced cool-lah-chino, the modern Italian restaurant is the homegrown concept of Bibinger’s owner Travis Dowden. Designed to deliver Italian-inspired, honest cooking, with an emphasis on using the highest quality ingredients, locally-sourced whenever possible.

Lunch and dinner for the invite-only soft opening is Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13.  Click HERE for details on winning a seat at the table. Six people and their guest of choice will be randomly selected to attend the soft opening.

 

Located in the heart of West Bend (110 Wisconsin Street), the new Italian space will serve lunch and dinner six days a week; Monday’s they will be closed. The menu will offer made-from-scratch pastas and sauces, wood-fired pizzas cooked to perfection in a stone oven, classic Italian dishes, as well as seasonal specials.

Culaccino Bar + Italian Kitchen will also offer a full-service bar, featuring a unique tap system for 12 hand-selected wines and a few signature craft cocktails that will offer a modern twist on classic Italian drinks.

Culaccino is the Italian word for the mark left on the table by a cold glass. While there is no actual translation in English, the new dining destination hopes to become a place of gathering for friends and that the name – Culaccino – will come to stand for the lasting memories of something good.
