Obit: Adela Krell, 95

Adela M. Krell (nee Mueller) age 95 of West Bend died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Ivy Manor. She was born June 16, 1920 in Barton to Alvin and Margaret (nee Marx) Mueller and married Constantine B. Krell on June 28, 1941 at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church in Barton. Constantine preceded her in death on January 7, 2004.

Following their marriage Constantine and Adela lived on the Krell homestead in the Town of Farmington until 1955. They then lived near Little Green Lake until retiring from dairy farming in 1977 when they moved to Newburg. Adela enjoyed attending daily Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a member of the Christian Women at Holy Trinity and often volunteered at church. She loved doing crafts and for a number of years she painted ceramics. Adela enjoyed going to church dinners, playing BINGO and Sheepshead and visiting the casinos.

Adela is survived by her 3 children: Marie (Vernon) Jacoby of West Bend, Theresa Berend of Newburg and Donald (Sharon) Krell of West Bend, 6 grandchildren: Steven (Debra) Jacoby, Brian (Cathy) Jacoby, Christine (Clint) Ragan, Michele (David) Clingan, Randy (Jill) Krell and Craig (Audrey) Krell, 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren with another great-great-grandchild expected in the first week of July. She is further survived by her brother Robert (Eileen) Mueller of West Bend and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Adela is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Margaret Mueller, her husband Constantine Krell, 2 brothers Norbert and Raymond Mueller, 2 sisters Marcella Wiedmeyer and Anna Primas and a son-in-law Robert Berend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg with Rev. Kevin Kowalske presiding. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, at the church only from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Masses or memorials to Holy Trinity Parish are appreciated.

We would like to extend a special and heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Mosley and his nurse Jane, the caregivers at Ivy Manor and the nurses at Serenity Hospice Care for the kind and compassionate care given to Adela.
