Obit: Kenneth H. Zettler, 87, of the town of Farmington

Dec. 26, 2016 – Town of Farmington, WI – Kenneth H. Zettler, 87, of the town of Farmington, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at the Beechwood’s Home Away from Home.

Ken was born on September 2, 1929, in West Bend, the son of the late Ewald and Marcella (Herman) Zettler. On September 9, 1950, he was united in marriage to Alice Troedel at St. Michaels Catholic Church in St. Michaels.

Ken retired from the West Bend Aluminum Company after 42 years and was an avid farmer. He was a Boltonville Volunteer Fireman and was a member of the Boltonville Sportsman’s Club and the Modern Woodman. Ken enjoyed camping, casino trips, fishing, traveling, and loved modifying and tinkering.

Those Ken leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Alice; three children, Norman (Joan) Zettler of the town of Auburn, Nancy (Larry) Kritz of the town of Barton, and Marvin Zettler of West Bend; five grandchildren, Kathryn (Justin) Schneider, Eric (Lisa) Zettler, Leonard (Stacey) Kritz, Kyle (Sara) Kritz, and Ryan (Alesia) Kritz; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Lucille) Zettler and Alvin (Diane) Zettler; a sister, Arlene (John) Beisbier; other relatives and friends.

 

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Roger (Rosemary) Zettler.

 

Services for Ken will be held at a later date and a notification will be published.
