Obit: Renee Pafford, 38, Town of Erin

Renee A. Pafford (nee Swearingen) age 38 of the town of Erin, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 14, 2016.

She was born on November 6, 1977 to Donald and Karen (nee Schwartz) Swearingen. Renee was united in marriage to Richard Pafford on August 16, 1997 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Renee was a parish member of St. Mary of the Hill and was the General Leader of the Thompson Irish Settlers 4-H Club, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary-Unit 522 of Hubertus.  She loved to go camping with family and friends.

Renee is survived by her loving parents, Karen (Donald) Swearingen of Hartland; her beloved husband, Richard Pafford; cherished daughter Kaliann; sister, Carrie (Jeffery) Schwulst; brother, Bartholomew (Linda) Swearingen; grandfather, Robert (Karen) Schwartz; father and mother-in-law, Robert (Rita) Pafford; and a brother-in-law, Randy (Heather) Pafford. She is further survived by many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Marcella (nee Wickman) Swearingen and grandmother, Shirley (nee Huettl) Schwartz.

Mass of Resurrection for Renee will be held Monday, February  22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Chapel (Basilica of Holy Hill, lower chapel 1525 Carmel Rd Hubertus, WI 53033) with the Rev. Fr. Fred Alexander OCD officiating.

Renee’s family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St. Hartford WI 53027). Additional visitation will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.  in the St. Therese Chapel at Holy Hill, prior to Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated.
