Obit: Rosemary Brown (nee Mc Crank), 87, of West Bend

Dec. 10, 2016 – West Bend, WI – Rosemary Brown (nee Mc Crank) age 87 years of West Bend, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Cedar Lake Health and Rehab.

Rosemary was born on February 7, 1929 in Milwaukee to Patrick and Rosella (nee Long) Mc Crank.  She married Edward Brown on December 28, 1946 at St. Patrick Catholic Church.  The couple lived in Mequon where they farmed and later moved to Brown Deer.  In 1976, the family moved to Grafton where Rosemary was a meal-side manager for the Grafton Senior Center for many years. In 1994 the couple moved to Cedar Bay in West Bend.  Very involved in delivering Meals on Wheels and were Eucharistic Ministers for Holy Angels Catholic Church for many years.  They loved to square dance, enjoyed going out for dinner, visiting many churches including Holy Hill and attending Mass everyday.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 69 years Edward. He always said “She is the love of my life.  Every day with her was better.”  Her children Michael, Howard, Joanne, Ann and Guy.  She is further survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Preceded in death by her parents, daughters Marjorie and Patricia, grandson Jacob Tietz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 pm at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N 8th Ave., West Bend) on Saturday, December 17, 2016 with Father Patrick Heppe presiding.  Interment will take place at St. Finbar Cemetery in Saukville.  Visitation will be at the CHURCH ONLY on Saturday, December 17 from 10:00 am until time of Mass (12:00 pm).  In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
