Obit: Thomas M. Frase “Festus”, 59, of Germantown

Feb. 13, 2018 – Germantown, WI – Thomas M. Frase “Festus”, 59, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was born on March 2, 1958 to Lawrence and Maryann Frase (nee Wagner). He married Mary Lynn (nee Stuettgen) on December 2, 1978 in Germantown and was employed at Lannon Stone Products. He enjoyed making homemade wine, restoring his 1950’s John Deere tractor, and hanging out at Strupp Implement in Slinger. Tom also enjoyed grilling out on Sundays and loved spending quality time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lynn; cherished children, Michael (Shanna Annear), Nick (Elizabeth Orth), Lisa (John) O’Flanagan; adored granddaughter, Bella Deer; his parents; siblings, John, Mark (Stacy), Chuck, Frank (fiancée Shawne Flanagan), Lynn Frase, Chris (Traci), Ron (Tina); brother-in-law Scott Goltz, parents-in-law and siblings-in-law, Bill (Yvonne) Stuettgen, Michele (Jeff) Arnold, Marlene (Jim) Halopka, and Buzz Stuettgen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends and his beloved feline Syl.

Tom is preceded in death by his siblings, Larry, Dave, Lori Goltz; Aunt Florence Lehmann.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17 at 2:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. The Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 17 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. His final resting place will be at St. Augustine Cemetery in Hubertus.

  1. I worked with Festus for several years at Erin Construction. He was a good guy and I enjoyed the time spent with him. I was surprised and saddened to hear of his passing. It is a shame for Festus to leave us at such a young age. Condolences to his friends and family.
